There is something to be said for quarterly updates versus Yahoo style up to date link data - it takes the obsession with linking (and PR) away a little and refines it to simple quarterly milestones as a barometer for your progress.

I&#039;d guess innovators would prefer the Google link data style, while followers would prefer Yahoo - innovators don&#039;t want the competition seeing what they&#039;re up to for a while! ;)
