Pay Per action - Some concerns
Posted by: longboarder77 Date posted: March 30th, 2007 Published in: General, Marketing, PPCGoogle’s beta launch of Pay Per Action raises some strange questions around the factors that contribute to making a user take action / decide to purchase. While Google goes to great lengths to ensure its SERPS are market leading by indexing the best web properties and awarding them top positions withing the search listings - it seems odd that Google is prepared to beta test a piece of software that negates the complexity of marketing science in terms of the quality of customer experiance and online brand perceptions that go into woo-ing customers into ‘taking action’ online. The point is explored further on the digital Aim Customer Experience blog where there is also a link to the original Google Adwords article.
