Link building gone wrong

Had a guy start an Internet arguement with me a while back – I deleted his spam from my forums, he copied my content and whatnot – all very lame.  Was slightly annoyed at the time (as he started targeting the same phrases as me on his own site).  But I have a low attention span and forgot about it.

Checking up on my lead keyword just I notice he’s no longer top 20 where he was once was (he had bought and used a pretty nice domain – I am and have been no. 3 for years, having developed the domain from scratch).

A bit more research and find a site down the Google SERPs in the 50′s – some shitty freebie directory that he submitted to (he went on an insane link building spree, but fucked it up royaly by whoring his site to anyone who would take him – he even approached “me” through other sites I run to get links…great thinking there bud!).

The directory in question uses 302 redirects to send users to the target site.

There’s Karma for you, bitch. N00bness r00ls.

Nuff said.
