New theme! :)

Posted by: Marketing Guy Date posted: February 4th, 2008 Published in: About Fused Nation

Fused Nation - UK SEO and Marketing BlogWhatcha all think? :)  The theme was designed by Amy Fairhurst at Orangutan Creative and built by Greg Findley - thanks both!

The blog roll has gone, but I’ll put together something to list the blogs that were up there.

There are still a few small bugs with the theme which will be ironed out over the course of the day.  Be patient! ;)

Scott

ADDED - what do you think of this as the temp blog roll page? http://www.fusednation.com/seo-blog-roll/

    Hi Scott,

Looking really good! I guess you just need to decide on what photo you’re going to use for the right hand side! :)

    Looks nice mate!

We recently had a re-design too and it’s really nice to be looking at a different layout all day long. Remember to port over your GA code though - just a word to the wise. Hindsight is a beautiful thing ;-)

Any chance of a cheeky link on the new blogroll? :-)

Hehe yeh Greg - not sure how badly I want to inflict my ugly mug on the SEO world! ;)

Cheers Tom - yup, I’ll stick a link up when the new page is ready!

HaHa, I didn’t mean it like that!
You could always get a vector illustration done to match the styling of the site, very trendy at the moment ;)

If she can’t help you with that let me know, as I do graphic design too! ;)

You got an example of something similar?

Very nice design Scott, Really funky!!

Big fan of the new logo, think it would be pretty cool if you had a different coloured star for any comments made by you ;)

    Cheers Dave. :)

Yeh was really pleased with the logo! Good idea about the comment star - I’ll look into it. :)

Just stumbled upon your blog via DaveN’s post.

    Really, really like your theme!

Interestingly, like me, Orangutan are Wirral based too. When you say built by Greg Findley - could you explain please?

    No subscribe to comments?

    Kind regards

    John

    Hey John :)

Amy did the design - she created the layout and logo for me and Greg converted it into php theme for Wordpress.

Actually I ditched the subscribe to comments link - didn’t think anyone used it! :) You can find it here: http://www.fusednation.com/comments/feed - I’ll add a link to it on the footer!

    Cheers

    Hi Scott

    Thanks for the info :)

Subscribe to comments …ah! I actually meant the WP plugin subscribe-to-comments rather than a comments feed
